BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CARAVANATAYR.CO.UK

 To enable everyone who uses the caravan to get maximum enjoyment from their holiday, the following conditions apply:

1. CONTRACT

 The contract is for the hire of the caravan for short term holiday letting, and will be entered into when we provide written confirmation of the booking to the hirer, and required payment has been received. The person making the booking will be deemed responsible for the caravan and those occupying it.

 2. PAYMENT

 A deposit of £50.00 is payable in order to confirm the booking.

 The balance of the rental fee will be due for payment 4 weeks before the holiday commencement date

 If the booking is made within six weeks of the holiday commencement date, the full accommodation rental fee will be required when booking.

 Failure to make full payment at the appropriate time will result in the cancellation of the booking and the deposit will be forfeited.

 3. PRICE GUARANTEE

We guarantee that there will be no surcharges once we have confirmed a booking.

 4. PASSES

Passes to the entertainment complex etc are NOT included in the cost of the holiday unless stated in writing by the owners. Current prices for passes can be obtained from the owners and can be bought from the park reception on arrival.

 5. CANCELLATION

 The Hirer should notify the owners as soon as possible should the booking for any reason need to be cancelled. For any cancellation before the arrival date the deposit will be forfeited and an appropriate refund on the balance will be made at the discretion of the owners pending re-letting.

 6. HIRER’S RESPONSIBILITIES

 The Hirer is responsible for the caravan and is expected to take reasonable care of it. All equipment and utensils etc, and the caravan itself are to be left clean and tidy at the end of the stay. All damages / breakages should be reported. The owners reserve the right to charge for any serious damage, breakages or extra cleaning which are not deemed to be normal wear and tear.

 7. SHORT BREAKS

Short breaks are only available at off peak times or at the discretion of the owners.

 8. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

 The arrival and departure day is usually a Saturday for weekly lets unless otherwise agreed in advance with the owners.

The caravan will be ready for occupation after 2:00pm, and it should be vacated by 10:00am on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed with the owners.

Failure to respect the departure time may result in an extra charge for the waiting time incurred by the cleaners.

 9. NUMBERS OF PEOPLE OCCUPYING THE CARAVAN

 Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons stated on the booking form occupy the caravan.

 The leader of the party must be over 21 yrs.

No single sex groups unless agreed by the owners.

 10. KEYS AND DIRECTIONS

 Arrangements for keys will be provided along with the booking confirmation. Directions can be obtained from our web site at www.caravanatayr.co.uk  or from the owners.

 11. GAS AND ELECTRICITY

 Gas and electricity charges are included in the cost of renting the caravan.

 12. LINEN AND TOWELS

 Pillows, duvets and bed linen are all provided. We would ask that you provide your own towels.

 13. PETS

Pets are not allowed in the caravan (except assistance dogs)

 14. COMPLAINTS

 Any complaints must be made immediately to the owners who will endeavour to rectify the problem as soon as possible, to ensure the continued enjoyment of your holiday. The complaint must be confirmed in writing within seven days of the end date of the Hirer's holiday.

 15. LOST PROPERTY

A minimum charge of £ 10 is made for the return of lost property after your departure. We accept no responsibility for items reported lost which cannot be found. Property is at all times the responsibility of its owner.

 16. PERSONAL SAFETY

The owners cannot accept any liability for the personal safety of persons using the caravan. Guests are reminded to exercise care as to the personal safety of themselves and others while using the caravan.

17. SMOKING

 Smoking is not permitted inside the caravan at any time.

 These Terms and Conditions do not supersede or replace the Terms and Conditions of Haven Holidays Ltd or the Park Rules of Craig Tara Holiday Park which must be adhered to at all times.
